On Nov. 28, 2018, during halftime of the Ohio State men’s basketball game against Syracuse. osu Fan experience held the Sugardale "Dash for Your Dinner" contest. Fans dressed in hot dog costumes had five seconds to sprint down the court with a basketball, where a made shot in five seconds would send a winner home with a year’s worth of hot dogs.
Where three contestants failed, the fourth not only prevailed, but created a viral moment that swept social media the entire night as well as the next day.
